Yesterday, Activision confirmed during a conference with investors the following fact: the new titles of the franchise X-Men, Transformers, Spider-Man and Hero will be released only next year. Although not very significant sales of DJ Hero 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, the company should continue investing in the series. Check out the announcement by the executive officer (CEO) of the company, Eric Hirshberg:
"Complementing the Call of Duty series, in 2011 we will have new releases of our other franchises, including Hero, Spider-Man, X-Men and Transformers. We are also announcing that we are deep into development of an exciting new product for children who rely on innovative technologies and has the potential to open up a whole new product for us. We are eager to reveal more about the subject at the next conference. "
It is expected that more detailed news will be released by Activision after Christmas. It is interesting to note that a new True Crime should also appear next year...
