It would seem that the NES Classic Edition is more popular than the Wii U, reaching 1.5 million sales since it released back in November according Nintendo's latest financial report.

Since it release the system has been in short supply, with the NYC Nintendo Store constantly updating their social media page about more systems coming in and limiting one-per-customer.
The NES Classic system includes 30 classic NES games within one machine such as Doney Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pac-Man, and much more. Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima provided a statement regarding the shortages of the system. Apologizing to customers and retailers Kimishima stated the reasoning behind the shortage was the parts which require time to gather and plan to increase production.
