New FF XIII Character Revealed

As Final Fantasy XIII is nearing completion and we're getting close to getting official release dates in Japan and the North American / European regions, more additions to the Final Fantasy XIII reportoire are being revealed as days pass. In this case, a new character has been confirmed. Her name is Serah Farron. Headstrong girl, likes to solve her problems without bothering others, and she's an L'Cie as well. Guess what? She is younger the sister of Lightning, one of the main characters of FFXIII. You know what else? According to the images and articles, Serah and Snow Villers were once a couple, but some major events that happened in the game made her decide to break up with him. Whatever the reason, Snow meets his ex-fiancée again, but she's already been crystallized, and he had to witness the heartbreaking scene up close.

As of recently, the Playstation 3 version is about 90% complete, and the 360 version 70% so far. Square has announced the game will be playable the whole event, so expect more game play footage and new features and characters during the Tokyo Game Show this week.
