New Metroid Dread Videos Highlight Phantom Cloak Ability

Metroid Dread is one of the most anticipated games of this year. A sequel to Metroid Fusion and the final game in the Metroid saga fans have been eagerly awaiting Samus' return. New clips have been released showing off the new Phantom Cloak ability that hides Samus from the deadly EMMI threat.

The Phantom Cloak allows Samus to hide from the EMMI, which are deadly robots that rival SA-X. Powerful robots that can easily kill Samus and are only hurt by a special weapon that has one 1-shot peruse.

The entire transmission provides an extensive look at how Samus can avoid these robots. With another report coming soon.

Metroid Dread is in high demand, so much that scalpers have been holding special edition copies and amiibos. Selling them for 2x the original price to no one's surprise.

Metroid Dread launches on Switch this October 8th.
