Nintendo Switch Reaches New Milestone in Sales, Nearing 20 Million

Last year Nintendo retired the Wii U and focused on the Nintendo Switch. Within 1 year the console has sold millions of units and has an incredibly strong lineup of exclusive games such as Super Mario Odyssey. During their first-quarter earnings report, Nintendo confirmed the Nintendo Switch has reached 19.67 million units sold.

In addition Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze sold 1.4 million since May, Mario Tennis Aces has crossed the million mark since its release, and two Labo sets have sold 1.39 million units combined. To date, 86 million games have shipped for the platform.
