No Release Date for Fallout 4 PS4 Mods because Bethesda is "still evaluating the process"
PS4 players will have to wait
News by Grayshadow on Aug 03, 2016
Although mod support for the Xbox One has been live for 2 months PS4 players will have to wait their turn.
One of the biggest features of Fallout 4 was the ability to allow console gamers to build, share, and install mods similar to PC gamers. Right now Bethesda has noted a number of limitations that prevents the feature from being implemented on the PS4 version of the game.
Some issues include the file size limit of 900 MB, sound files in mods not being compatible with console's OS, and other issues.
The developer released an official tweet, seen above, speaking about the issue. Bethesda's Pete Hines has spoken to PS4 gamers through Twitter explaining that although he can't go into specifics
Fallout 4 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
