No World in Conflict for consoles

IGN has been infomed by Ubisoft that World in Conflict: Soviet Assault will not be released on consoles anytime in the future. However, the PC version is still scheduled to be released next month.

 

 

 

 

 

The game cancellation for the XBOX360 and PS3 versions may be a surprise for some, but after news of delays for the game prior to this announcement and the Activision / Vivdendi merger, things kind of fell into place by themselves. Lets hope the PC version will build on what is already, quite a 'tantalising' game.
