PlayStation 4 Exclusive Days Gone Launch Date Revealed

Leading up to Sony's E3 2018 presentation the company has been making 1 large announcement each day. Yesterday was the reveal of Tetris Effect, a music-based Tetris title from the makers of Lumines, and now it's the release date for Days Gone. Coming February 22nd, 2019.

The reveal trailer did more than give a release date. It provided more information about the story. As the player combats human survivors called Rest in Peace who worship the freakers and are fittingly called Rippers. The cult is seen dressing like the zombie creatures and brutalizing other survivors.

In addition, the world was shown to be an active environment full of dangers. Included are infected ravens and wolves but also normal animals such as cougars and bears that actually run away from the freakers, acknowledging them as threats.

Days Gone releases on PS4 February 22nd, 2019.
