Recent Images of The Witness Leave Fans Speculating

Jonathan Blow, the creator of Braid and next year's game The Witness, posted two images on the game's website this week. On each of these images seemingly identical pictures are placed side by side; look closely and you'll see minor differences.

Blow did not detail the meaning of these images, simply titling the post "What could it mean??" Well, fans want to know and immediately began speculating answers to Blow's question. The most popular ideas include Oculus Rift support or a form of virtual reality glasses from Sony. Other suitable theories include 3D television support, split-screen multiplayer and a multitude of other silly ideas (e.g. beer goggles).
