A point-and-click adventure game from indie developer Owl Cave, Richard & Alice was successfully Greenlit in February, and a few short months later, the developer teamed up with publisher Masteronic to bring the game to Steam.

This adventure follows the lives of two prisoners, Richard and Alice. In a post-apocalyptic setting, each sees the outside world from a leather sofa, through a state-of-the-art computer, with only Richard having access to a television. Snow has been falling for quite some time, and much of the world has been consumed by a hostile desert, forcing people to find safety and shelter in zones.
"A story-driven tale about family, desperation and the weather," players will alternate between the two characters, revealing why they are imprisoned and how the world became engulfed in chaos. Moreover, each player will question themselves, their views on what is right and wrong and just how far they would go to survive.

Richard & Alice is available today via Steam for PC. Just announced, in celebration of its launch, Richard & Alice will be 50% off for an entire week. The game's full price is $5.99, therefore, this is quite a steal, marking the title down to just under $3.
