Rumor: Guitar Hero: Queen in the works

Queen guitarist Brian May has hinted that Guitar Hero: Queen might be in the works. May previously insinuated that a Queen-focused Rock Band rhythm game was on the way October of last year.

 

In an interview with Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, May mentioned that Guitar Hero: Queen will be coming out in 2011. No details of the game have been revealed as of late, but we’re expecting the most beloved tracks of the famous British rock band will be included in the package.

 

Whether or not May mixed up Guitar Hero and Rock Band or was convinced to change franchises – we may never know. But May and his bandmates have already appeared in Lego Rock Band and Queen Singstar, so it makes sense the band experiment with different series to extend their gaming popularity.
