Soulja Boy’s Consoles Removed From Personal Store Despite Claims Nothing Would Happen

Soulja Boy insisted that his consoles were legal and would remain on sale, not anymore

Since the launch of DeAndre Cortez's (Soulja Boy) emulator consoles, many argued the legality around the system seeing they included preloaded games from companies such as Activision, Ubisoft, 505 Games, Nintendo, and many more. Soulja Boy sold these consoles, along with other "Soulja" products, on his personal site and third-party retailers before most third-party, the biggest being Amazon, removed the systems when it became known they were repackaged Chinese emulator consoles from Anbernic. After attacking the YouTubers and Nintendo in a sea of now-deleted Tweets Soulja Boy insisted the consoles weren't going anywhere, well now they're gone and many are assuming Nintendo took action.

According to Soulja Boy, "I had to boss up, I didn't have a choice" which many speculate is Nintendo taking action against the rapper. Nintendo is notorious for taking action against anyone who uses their IPs but it's just as likely other companies like Activision, Capcom, and many more also took action. If you read the comments on the Tweet the gaming community's reaction is as expected.

Update: Reports have surfaced stated that Nintendo has taken legal action. This is supported by the fact that when attempting to visit SouljaGame.com users are redirected to Nintendo's website.
