Ubisoft Adding NFTs to Ghost Recon Breakpoint
The NFTs have come to AAA games

Limited-edition cosmetics are not new. Back on Halo 3 players could only obtain Recon armor from Bungie before it was added as an unlock. And World of Warcraft Burning Crusade was the first game in the MMO to add unique mounts only available by reaching the highest rank in the arena. However NFTs have been changing things, these tokens are now coming to video games with Ubisoft testing the feature with Ubisoft Quartz.
Each cosmetic won't be special in its design but instead, have a serial number linked to that specific item with Ghost Recon Breakpoint being the first game to get this option. Allowing players to sell and trade these items.
On the surface this seems like a cool idea, having unique items that could only be obtained through special means and having the option to sell if you wish. But given the exploitive nature of NFTs people are not happy to see them in their games.
