Why Europe Can't Date Sexy Catherine Yet

If you remember, Deep Silver was going to release Catherine in Europe, but that time hasn’t come yet. As the publisher of prestigious titles like Dead Island or upcoming 3DS title Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion, they have been busy, but have not given up on this classic puzzler.

When asked about the title’s release, Deep Silver representative Martin Metzler reassured us: “Rest assured that we do everything to release the game as soon as possible but also want to release the best product feasible.” He also was kind enough to tell us what the workings of this process are right now: “Catherine will get a full text localization in French, Italian, German and Spanish. Since the story is a very important part of the enjoyment of the game, we took special care to create a translation that does the English version justice. We also have to take submissions to the platform holders for the European market into account that also take their time.”

Since there have been issues with localization recently, we asked if this would be any problem in Catherine. Martin told us that a full English version will still be available, “parallel to the other text localizations.” And here you thought we never investigated on anything for you.
