Conversations and Skills

Sometimes when you speak with characters, you can roll dice. If you win the roll, you succeed. If you lose, the talk goes a different way. You can make your skills better in the options menu.

Adding one skill point moves the dice to 1 Too. This makes it much easier to win talks, like when you speak to She. This also helps your card skills and changes the outcome. If you do not want to use the dice, you can just focus on the story instead in Aether & Iron.

Combat and Movement

In a fight, you must check where your skills aim and where the enemies are. Hit the enemy and then find a safe spot to hide so you do not take too much damage from many attacks.

Keep an eye on the ground while you move. If you see a green spot, stay away from it because it is a debuff area. For the best Aether & Iron gameplay, always watch your position.

The Workshop

You can change your ride at the Workshop. This is where you go to pick a new color for the car or swap your skills. When you are done making changes, press the enter key to compare the car and finish the job.

Car Roles

Every car has a specific job. Gia drives an Attacker car that hits hard. Lucas has a Tanker car to take hits for the team. Cress uses a Healer car to fix damage.

Pay attention to these roles in this Narrative RPG. This Decision Driven game rewards you for using the right car and staying out of the green zones in Aether & Iron.
