You can increase your power capacity by using a Thermal Bank, which you unlock through the Power 1 node in the second tier of the technology tree. This machine acts as a generator that can run on two different fuels to provide extra energy.

Setting Up the Thermal Bank

To start, place your Thermal Bank near an Electric Pylon to connect it to your grid. You should leave a small amount of space between machines for easier belt management in Arknights: Endfield.

These generators work best when you automate the fuel delivery using a Depot Unloader attached to your Bus Depot. Once you have at least two upgrades for your Bus Depot, you will have enough output slots to feed multiple generators at once.

Choosing Your Fuel Source

The Thermal Bank accepts two types of fuel that provide different amounts of power. Originium Ore is a cheap and easy option where one ore provides 50 power and takes 8 seconds to process.

Since this material is often abundant, it is a great way to get a steady boost without much effort. The LC Valley Battery is the superior fuel choice because a single battery provides 220 power, which is more than your entire core starts with. However, one battery takes 40 seconds to process, so you need a steady supply to keep the power from dropping.

Automating Battery Production

You need to build a Packaging Unit from the Packaging Tech node in order to make LC Valley Batteries. You will need Amethyst Parts and Originium Powder for the recipe.

You use a Fitting Unit to process Amethyst Fiber into the parts and a Shredding Unit to grind down raw Originium Ore into powder. Once you have these materials, run them into your Packaging Unit.

The finished batteries should be sent to a Depot Loader to store them in your core so your Thermal Banks can pull them out automatically. A single production line can usually support two Thermal Banks running on batteries at the same time.

Using the Base Blueprint

If you want to use this exact setup, you can import a Blueprint through the shared menu in your game in Arknights: Endfield.

Just make sure you have purchased the two upgrades for the Bus Depot first, or the side-mounted machines will not fit. This layout automates the entire process so your power levels stay high while you focus on exploring or building.
