Here's how you can get your hands on the legendary Jelly Grenade.

The legendary Jelly Grenade, made by Ripper, is a weapon that you'll be able to get your hands on pretty early in Borderlands 4 without much difficulty.

The Lead Balloon is dropped from Splashzone, one of the first bosses that you'll encounter in the campaign, found during the Recruitment Drive mission in Fadefields. You'll be able to find the region in the southern part of the map.

I would recommend unlocking The Stockroom Silo, so that you'll be able to fast travel from there and take the nearby zip line, which will take you directly to the boss area.

Farming the boss should be pretty easy since it's a straightforward fight, but it can be a bit tedious when you consider the drop rate is somewhere around 5% so you might be there farming for a while, hence the importance of The Stockroom Silo.

The Splashzone tends to drop valuable loot almost every run, from blues, purples, to legendries, even. Purples in Borderlands 4 tend to be fairly strong, and they can also roll with licensed parts for enhanced stats, making them immensely valuable.

The grenade's mechanic is self-replication after being tossed. When it hits the ground, it splits and bounces repeatedly, wreaking havoc, and it also has the option to be elemental depending on the roll you get.

It's especially handy in tight enclosed areas, but it also has the risk of bouncing back onto you, so you'll need to be careful whenever you throw the grenade. Borderlands four has a cool-down system for grenades instead of the number of them that you can hold.

The Jelly Grenade is a fun, powerful, chaotic weapon, and the chaos is a part of the fun.
