Borderlands 4 Guide | How to Solve Pester’s Grotto Crawler

Here's how you can complete Pester’s Grotto Ancient Crawler.

Around the right-hand side of the map in Borderlands 4, there will be an ancient crawler called Pester’s Grotto. The location features a challenging puzzle that requires you to maneuver a canister through a large drill structure.

An evocarium marker will show on the map, making it pretty easy to find.

When you're at the side, collect the canister on the east of a crawler, before even getting the opportunity to pick it up, you'll be met with a lot of enemies, and it is important to clear the side before taking everyone down, as it makes moving it across much easier.

When everything is clear, you want to take the canister inside the lower portion of the massive drill. You'll need to turn around to spot an elevated area where you are required to throw the canister.

It's important not to wait too long to collect it, as the canister will despawn if it's left unattended.

After progressing up, you want to clear out the area once again, and there will be another platform for you to throw the canister up. There will be a button to trigger a wind launchpad that helps you move upward.

You need to repeat the process on the next floor, but this time you need to be extra careful as it is possible for the canister to bounce back onto the ground, and if it does, you'll need to retrieve it, and there's a chance that it may despawn.

Winner of the top-most floor, there will be a platform where you'll be able to interact with your canister, and once you do, you'll need to interact with that again with your grapple.

This will give you a vehicle cosmetic kit, and collecting it will complete the Pester’s Grotto crawler and reward you with 40 SDU.

You'll be able to apply this paint job by opening their inventory, selecting vehicle customization, and equipping the skin.
