In Date Everything, you have access to 100 potential romantic candidates, and Abel stands out as one of the more unique characters you can pursue. Unlike other dateables who remain in fixed locations, Abel requires patience and dedication to romance successfully.

Finding Abel's Locations

Abel differs from most other dateables because he appears in multiple locations throughout the house, similar to Dorian, The Door, and Wyndolyn, The Window. You'll need to visit each of these locations and interact with Abel to fully experience his romance route. Some tables will require multiple interactions before you can progress further.

You can find Abel at these eight locations: the foyer end table, the living room coffee table, the living room entertainment center, the dining room table, the dining room end table beneath Rainey The Record Player, the kitchen table, the upstairs coffee table, and the bedroom nightstand.

Four of these locations—the dining room table, kitchen table, bedroom nightstand, and upstairs coffee table—will have spills that you can clean up for Abel.

Through these various interactions, you'll learn more about Abel's personality and backstory. You'll also receive several fetch quests that can improve your chances with him, including getting coffee from Kopi, talking to Jacques, and speaking to Dasha.

Achieving Abel's Love Ending

To win Abel's heart, you need to approach him with patience and genuine support. Abel doesn't accept help easily and has no interest in casual dating arrangements. He prefers a slow, old-fashioned approach to romance, so rushing things will likely backfire on him.

During your encounters with Abel across his various locations, offer him emotional support, listen carefully to his thoughts and concerns, and try to understand how he thinks and operates.

Pay attention to his interactions with Tony The Toolbox, as Abel really dislikes this character. When Tony appears, make sure to help Abel deal with the situation.

As you progress through his route, you'll eventually get the opportunity to ask Abel about your relationship with him. He'll confess that he's an indecisive person who can't figure out what your relationship means or where it's headed. When he asks you to define the relationship, this is your chance to confess your love and achieve the romantic ending.

Achieving Abel's Friend Ending

If you prefer a platonic relationship with Abel, you can follow the same steps outlined above but choose to define your relationship as friendship rather than romance when he asks about it. This isn't the only way to achieve this ending, however.

You'll also naturally fall into the friend ending if you consistently choose dialogue options that aren't the most supportive or understanding. This pattern is similar to other challenging dateables like Beau and Rebel, who require very specific approaches to romance successfully.

If you're not satisfied with getting the friend ending, you can reload a previous save from a few days back and try a different approach.

Achieving Abel's Hate Ending

If you want Abel to dislike you, you need to make him consistently uncomfortable throughout your interactions. Mock him whenever liquids get spilled on him, be unsympathetic when he's struggling, and deliberately bring up sensitive topics whenever possible.

You must complete every encounter with Abel for this ending to work properly, or you might accidentally get trapped in the friend ending instead. For this reason, it's wise to save your game before talking to Abel, just in case you need to reload and try again.
