Character Overview

Celia serves as the mayor and can be found on the rooftops. You can only interact with her on the second floor, specifically in the corridor that leads to the Attic.

She appreciates companionship, order, and fairness, but has a strong dislike for campaign finance reform. Her associated S.P.E.C.S. stat is SMARTS.

Florence works as Celia's secretary and will be the first person you encounter when attempting to meet the mayor. She's an essential character in the romance storyline and cannot be avoided.

Encountering Florence

When you first attempt to meet Celia, you'll need to use the Dateviators on the lower portion of the ceiling located in the second-floor corridor, right before the Attic. However, Florence will intercept you before you can speak with her boss directly in Date Everything!!

Florence will inform you that her boss is currently busy and requests that you wait.

Instead of rushing the interaction, choose the polite response: "You sound like a great PA. If it helps you look good to your boss, I'd be glad to."

This considerate approach will prompt Florence to offer you some tea.

Accept her offer by selecting "Yes, please" and then choose your preferred flavour. While Florence mentions she enjoys her tea with milk and sugar, this preference likely doesn't affect the outcome in Date Everything!

During this tea interaction, you'll accidentally spill your drink, which will unlock a Collectable item.

Meeting Celia

After the tea incident, Florence will grant you access to Celia's office. Exercise patience and wait for all other petitioners to finish their business before Celia introduces herself.

She'll present you with a Collectible card during this introduction.

When Celia asks what she can do for you, respond with "Try to get the lay of the land, and I wanted to meet 'The Mayor.'" This response will earn you recognition as a doer. Follow up with an enthusiastic "Absolutely" when she acknowledges this trait.

Celia will then request a favour regarding Florence. You can describe Florence in various ways, though selecting "sweet" works well and prompts Celia to refer to her as a "dear."

Celia will inform you that Florence has been acting weird and has asked you to find out what happened. Volunteer to do this task, and you can leave the office.

Florence's Confession Sequence

Return to Florence the following day and adopt a direct approach. Begin by asking her, "Tell me about yourself," then follow up with "Tell me about the mayor."

When she speaks positively about Celia, respond with, "You seem quite taken with her."

This observation will cause Florence to panic. If you have the required 40 EMPATHY, you can then ask the direct question: "Florence... do you have feelings for the mayor, don't you?" She will finally admit to her feelings at this point in Date Everything!

Encouraging Florence

Push Florence to take action by suggesting, "Why not tell her you like her?" When she protests against this idea, offer your assistance with "Maybe I could help you catch her eye?"

Florence will likely remain in denial, so continue encouraging her with "That's not true.

She really respects you." The novel reveals Celia's actual words: "She said she wouldn't enjoy her work if she didn't get to see your smiling face every day." Finally, I shared Celia's concern by saying, "Celia asked me to make sure you were ok. She's been worried sick about you."

Final Persuasion

Florence will ask for advice at this point. Choose the dialogue option that matches your available stats: either the 20 CHARM option or the 25 SASS option.

You'll encounter another statement afterwards, but one option only requires 30 EMPATHY, which is lower than your initial requirement, making it the safer choice.

Continue pressing Florence with the provided one-liner responses until she finally agrees to confess to her boss.

The Confession Scene

Once you're back in Celia's office, allow Florence to struggle with her confession initially. When appropriate, assist her with additional one-liners until she successfully confesses her feelings to Celia in Date Everything!
