Zoey Bennett stands apart from other characters in Date Everything! as the only human dateable option, though she exists as a ghost. Unlike the various objects and elements you can romance throughout your home, Zoey requires a specific approach and timing to encounter.

You must first bind her to this world before pursuing any relationship with her.

How to Meet Zoey

You cannot meet Zoey through the standard Dateviator system like other characters. She operates under different rules that require precise conditions to encounter her.

You must first gain access to the attic by entering the crawlspace beneath the boiler room and collecting Keith, the skeleton key. With Keith in your possession, you can unlock the attic where several characters reside, including Parker and Sophia. While you can speak with these other characters immediately, Zoey remains unavailable during normal hours.

Following Beau's story will naturally lead you to the crawlspace, making this encounter part of the progression system.

Zoey only manifests during the dead of night after your Dateviators have exhausted their charges. When you would normally head to bed, this becomes the only window when she appears. Return to the attic and look for a glowing orb positioned near the large pile of boxes. This orb represents Zoey's presence.

Since your Dateviators lack charges at this time, you can click directly on her orb without needing to wear the Dateviators. This initiates your first conversation with her.

You must continue meeting Zoey using this same nighttime method until you complete her storyline. This process may require multiple encounters over an extended period. You never need to spend Dateviator charges since these meetings occur exclusively after midnight.

Once you finish her story arc, Zoey will remain permanently in the attic and become available for conversation at any time of day.

Relationship Outcomes With Zoey Bennett

Zoey offers three possible relationship endings, similar to other characters in the game.

Love Ending

To get Zoey to love you, you have to treat her with respect every time you talk to her. Show that you are interested in what she has to say about her past, and don't push her too far outside of her comfort zone. Let her move forward at her own pace and be there for her as she tries to make peace with her situation.

Friends Ending

If you meet the requirements for a love ending, you can choose to pursue friendship instead. Another option is to be more direct by not being as interested in her past and moving quickly through talks. Show that you care, but keep your conversations short and less personal.

Hate Ending

The hate ending proves more challenging to achieve with Zoey. Even if you behave rudely during conversations, you will still complete the seance ritual with her.

The hate outcome occurs after the seance concludes, when she recognizes that despite your assistance, your overall behavior reveals an unpleasant personality. She will then express hatred toward you based on this assessment.
