The crafting system in Gotham Knights relies on several materials, and Nth Metal is required for high-level suits, melee weapons, and ranged weapons. Although it is one of the game's most essential resources, obtaining it requires time and repeated encounters across Gotham City.

Understanding Nth Metal Drops

Nth Metal can be loot that drops from any enemy, but it isn't as common as other elements. Nth Metal is scarce because it's so hard to find, but Common and Uncommon drops are fast.

The in-game description even describes it as “inconceivably rare,” which reflects how infrequently it appears during patrols.

Increasing Your Chances

Only a certain number of Opportunistic and Premeditated Crimes appear each night. To raise your chances of obtaining Nth Metal, make sure to interrogate criminals in Gotham Knights.

Interrogations unlock additional Premeditated Crimes, giving you more encounters and more chances for resource drops. The process takes time, but expanding your list of nightly crimes increases the number of enemies you can defeat.

Farming Stronger Enemies

Getting Nth Metal takes a lot of work, and you have to fight as many enemies as possible to get it. Clear every Premeditated Crime you see in Gotham Knights because stronger enemies are more likely to drop it.

You can also work through Villain Case Files, which include side missions involving Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, and Clayface. These encounters place you against more formidable opponents, which improves your overall drop potential.

Using Nth Metal For Crafting

Once you have enough Nth Metal, open the Crafting tab in the Batomputer menu. High-level blueprints often require this resource.

You can craft new gear at any time while exploring the city, but newly crafted items made outside the Belfry cannot be equipped immediately. Return to the base to add the gear to your inventory in Gotham Knights.
