Managing your health kits is essential as you move through Gotham Knights. You begin each patrol with seven kits for Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Nightwing, but there are several methods to restock while staying active in Gotham City. This guide explains how to refill your supply and how to adapt your approach when you’re running low.

Refilling Health Kits

You can always return to the Belfry to restore your complete set of seven health kits. Ending your patrol and heading back to the base resets your resources for the next night.

This option restores everything at once but interrupts your current patrol, so it may not fit your plan if you want to continue handling activities in the city in Gotham Knights.

Finding Ambulances

When you stay out in the open world, look for ambulances placed around Gotham City. These vehicles have chests beside them that instantly refill your entire supply of health kits. Ambulances often appear near crime scenes.

If you resolve an event, avoid waiting too long afterward, since police NPCs will arrive and treat you as a target in Gotham Knights.

Recovering Health Kits

During missions set in closed locations, such as Blackgate Penitentiary, ambulances will not appear. In these cases, you rely on defeating large brute enemies. These brutes drop health kits marked with a prominent white symbol when you defeat them.

After completing the first tutorial patrol, you can also find brutes during regular crimes in the open world. Defeating them provides you with the same type of kit in Gotham Knights.

Choosing Batgirl

If you still have trouble maintaining your health, you could switch to Batgirl. In her skill trees, some upgrades give her more base HP, back defensive boosts, and let her heal passively. She can also unlock a self-revive skill, which helps you during longer encounters.
