In Gotham Knights, each hero begins with three skill trees. The fourth tree, Knighthood, stays locked until you finish a set of required tasks. This guide explains how you open Knighthood for each character and how the process works.

Gaining Access to Knighthood

You unlock Knighthood by completing Knighthood Challenges. These appear only after you finish your first patrol in Gotham City with the character you chose at the start of the game. When that patrol ends, you return to the Belfry during the day.

You complete the required steps in the base, which grants you access to the Knighthood Challenges in the Batcomputer in Gotham Knights.

Locating Knighthood Challenges

Open the Batcomputer and select the Challenges tab. You will find the list of Knighthood Challenges there. Each hero has a separate list, so you repeat the process for Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood if you want Knighthood for all of them.

Robin’s Requirements (Example)

For Robin, the Knighthood Challenges involve three tasks. You complete Timed Strike Training in the Belfry, stop ten premeditated crimes across the city, and defeat three shield-carrying enemies. Once these tasks are done, Robin gains access to the Knighthood skill tree.

Benefits of Unlocking Knighthood

Unlocking Knighthood grants a new skill tree and opens Heroic Travel, which lets your hero move through Gotham City in a faster way than normal traversal. After your first daytime visit to the Belfry, you also gain the option to change characters before the next patrol.

You can rotate heroes at any time, but you may want to stay with each one long enough to unlock Knighthood, since each hero must complete their own list of challenges in Gotham Knights.
