You can use the Needle Strike as one of your main attacks. It is a charged move. You will be shown the exact steps to take to reach the location and unlock this powerful Ability in this guide. To get to the destination, you have to get through Blasted Steps, fight a boss, and get through complex platforming parts in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Getting to Blasted Steps

Start your trip in Blasted Steps at the fast travel point. From here, turn right and go down into the main river. While you're falling, turn on glide mode and move to the left, but don't go too far to the left to stay on the right path.

Navigating the Main Channel

Keep going down past the device for the lever. On the map, your location will be shown by a Blue Flag. You need to go to the table on the far left side that this Flag points to. The next step requires you to fight a boss, so make sure your gear and skills are ready in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Crossing the Gap Sections

Get from one stage to the next by using your Sprint Jump skills. These gaps need to be timed perfectly, and they all follow the same pattern in this part.

Boss Encounter

When you get to the right place, you'll see a boss guarding the way. You can get to the road to the left by beating this enemy. As soon as the boss dies, the previously blocked path becomes usable again in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Platforming Sequence

The cleared path leads to a set of platforming problems. Use speed jumps to get through the first part. As you go further, the levels get harder, and you have to combine moves like Jumping, Running, and Gliding.

Do Jump-Dash-Glide patterns to make the gaps between moves shorter. For longer stages, you have to start at the far edge and Sprint-Jump-Glide your way to the next part. The usual pattern of Jump, Dash, and Glide can be used to get over smaller platforms in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Advanced Movement Sections

When moving to the left is required, get ready for Sprint-Jump combos. Ensure you're in the correct position before attempting these moves. You will encounter Balloon platforms that require downward attack moves. From the side, you can get close to these, Sprint-Jump Down onto the Balloon, and then cross to the next level.

Reaching the Pinstress

After the platforming part, you'll come across a Hut with a place to rest. Seize this opportunity to achieve optimal health. Find the Pinstress inside the Hut. She is the Needle Strike teacher.
