In Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the game is different from other titles. You do not switch between a huge list of people.

You have a set of seven Characters to play as. Every person on your team carries their own gear. You use these things to beat fights and pass puzzles.

Playing as Jim Gordon

You gain Jim Gordon as a partner after you clear Chapter 1. He is a detective who helps Batman in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

He worked hard to become the Commissioner of the Gotham Police Department. You work with him during the Tutorial, but he joins you as a full partner once Bruce Wayne begins his life as Batman.

Using His Gears

He comes with two tools for you to use. The Foam Sprayer helps you solve parts of the world. It blocks pipes or makes gears stop. You can also use it to make enemies move slowly during a fight.

He also carries the Rebound Launcher. It fires a shot that hits walls and bounces around the room. Smash stuff or hit multiple enemies at once with the Rebound Launcher.
