Once you have the Goliath Neural Pattern, you can control Goliath Wardens. With this story ability, you can take control of a big Goliath Warden and use its weapons against enemies, plant growths, and paths that are closed. It alters the tempo of Luna Abyss, because the Goliath is more powerful, slower and designed for clearing area.
When you possess a Goliath Warden, focus on the route first. These sections usually ask you to destroy obstacles while staying on the objective path. Do not waste time firing at distant targets unless they are blocking your movement.
How to Use the Goliath Safely
After possession, aim at the outgrowths and enemy clusters in front of you. Fire in controlled bursts and keep moving forward. The Goliath can handle pressure, but it is not meant for careful platforming. Use it to break the room open, then depossess when the path asks you to continue on foot.

How to Clear Enemies Fast
Target grouped enemies first. The Goliath Warden is strongest when several targets are lined up. If smaller enemies move around you, sweep the weapon across the arena instead of chasing one target. This keeps the space clear and prevents damage from building up.

When to Depossess
Depossess the Goliath Warden when the objective marker moves beyond a narrow gap, ledge, or crouch path. These areas are made for Fawkes, not the Goliath. Once you leave the body, check the next platform before jumping so you do not lose progress after the combat section.
Useful Combat Tip
Use Goliath control as a room-clearing tool, not a defensive escape. Take the strongest targets down first, destroy anything blocking the route, then move on. The faster you clear the section, the less pressure you face when the game returns control to normal movement.
