Mina the Hollower Guide | All Trinket Locations

In the world of Mina the Hollower, your approach to battle can be changed by using Trinkets. These collectible accessories give you unique passive bonuses and mechanics. There are 60 available to collect in the various areas of the game, depending on what you enjoy.

You'll find this guide to be useful for all the accessory locations throughout the lands, from the end zones back to the central hub.

Sandfalls and Bone Beach

In these sandy areas, there are five accessories to be collected, or acquired from the start, to finish your collection or to begin it. The Joule Syringe is available on a small, remote, isolated island, Bone Beach, far out in the ocean. This will allow you to receive Plasma from secondary tools when you have more than 1HP, and even allow you to use your HP to utilize tools when you are at 0HP!

In the Sandfalls area, you can find the Polyp Lamp in a dark room from a merchant to provide a little light in dark areas, reducing damage taken from enemies. To keep the Tunneling Codex from landing, and avoid falling, you need to get 5,000 points in the Ring Dive Parlor minigame. With Bellows Bustle air dash mechanic, you need to take on and defeat Blaise's air dash challenge three times.

Ultimately, you can discover the Niter Belt, by entering a secret cave, placing a bomb on a central path and carefully leading it to the front of the treasure chest to remove the blockage. This accessory will cause a round explosion every time you pop out of underground.

Radiant Manor

At the end of your journey, you'll encounter two very powerful loadout accessories. The Spring Heels can be purchased from the Trooper, to perform a longer, higher jump, press a button immediately after landing. The second one here is Dodging Pendulum, which when you hit the jump button just before an attack lands, you get temporary invulnerability. This item is awarded for defeating the Mimic fight.

Coltrane Peak

Once you've invested a lot of currency to fix the tracks, you'll be able to go to the snow-capped tops of Coltrane Peak and collect three special items. If you complete an encounter without taking any damage, you will gain additional currency by buying the Watchful Eye from a merchant, Rupert. After challenging and defeating Mirren you'll receive the Blinking Glass, which will provide you with a random chance to completely ignore incoming damage, and briefly make you invulnerable as well. The final chest is located at the end of a large cavern, endlessly deep with drops. There's the Burning Beastium in here, which deals damage with fireballs when you get hit, but if you leap or burrow out of the way, you can avoid getting hit.

Kindelwood and Septemburg

There are 6 different accessories for you to collect in this forested region and dungeon Septemburg. Locate a hanging crow called Corvidden and chop it down to collect the Repulsing Root to deal damage and push a screaming monster, while taking damage. If you manage to save all the school kids from The Carving Man, you'll be rewarded with the Lightning Grip. If not all children can be saved, you will have to purchase this item from the main shop in the centre city. Just before the beginning of Kindlewood, there is a locked chest to unlock and collect the Wallower's Gauntlets, which will give you the power to dig through solid walls.

The last three objects in this area are all available for purchase from a special tongue merchant, who doesn't open until after defeating the Madd House. After getting rid of that boss, you can purchase the Voltaic Guard to block one lightning bolt, the Oozing Organ to produce a trail of damaging sludge as you traverse underground, and the Draining Beastium to increase the damage of your secondary weapons for a higher energy consumption.

Mirror's End and Astral Orrery

These bizarre dimensions can be accessed by way of the different mirrors scattered throughout your journey. One item can be found in Mirror's End, and two inside the Astral Orrery. The Vial Salvo can be purchased from a merchant named Tubert for shooting off projectiles and extra energy whenever you use a healing flask.

 Look around the rooms with purple floor tiles, and there will be a chest that will summon a spider to form a web path when you step onto a ledge. The last accessory is the Reckless Beastium which requires the correct brain item to be found and returned to Dr. Naught. This item increases attack power after healing, and makes you very vulnerable.

Backwaters

Travel through the swampy trails of the Backwaters and pick up three additional accessories. The first NPC you interact with will give you the Glutton Jug at the beginning of the zone. The frog must be equipped, fought and conquered fifty times to get the Plasma Jug, which allows for additional energy to be absorbed from enemies and the meter to be topped up after reaching limit. As you come out of the swamp, you will see a chest on an elevated platform that cannot be reached. You must sneak into the shop owned by Pinky, steal his ladder and carry it over to climb on the container for the Evasion Powder to gain the same benefit as the Evasion Cape, extending the number of invulnerability frames after damage or off the ground. There is also a store location at Pinky's where you can purchase the Spark Catcher, which will give you an additional life and revive dropped lives.

Queensbury Crypt

This dungeon has a generator and shelters four accessories, one of the strongest protection ones in the game. As you make your way to the main castle structure you may dig up Mina's own grave site and locate the Starving Beastium that will give you less health back in return for adding to your energy meter.

Beat him three times and find him throughout the dungeon, and he'll give you a Fly Bait item that will call out helpful flies to attack enemies on your behalf after you defeat them. The Stolenoid can be purchased from a merchant in a cave close to the arena in The Duchess, and is used to draw items to you by magnetic attraction. Lastly, you can get the Proto Spark by completing the final wish of The Duke and then sealing him up in his burial casket.

Knight's Rest and Mourner's Mile

The two associated burial ground areas have one accessory each. The Desperation Bonnet can be found in a chest inside a locked tomb that increases attack with an attack reduction to secondary tools, when life points are below 25%. The key to opening this tomb is the missing head of the nearby statue.

The second one requires the player to break through a breakable wall to find a hole which leads them onto a huge pit of dangers. There you'll find the Spike Spurs, which actually lessen incoming damage, and permit walking over spikes without knockback.

Western Wilds

The five accessories in the Western Wilds are hard to get. The Lace Glove gives a +1 to the attack stat of the core, and can be obtained by completing a small mission to help Ack and Dack defeat Bugin a few times. If you walk to the village of Kindelwood by accident and destroy a leaf character then you can get back to this area and find his funeral procession.

The body of the Dead Leaf must be gathered before it is added to the inventory and then one may use it to turn into a still statue to elude danger. Dummy Cache is the decoy item that can only be obtained using the train system to go to Coltrane Peak and complete the last wish of a grieving elderly man. In the Molten Foundry, there is a Flame Guard to absorb one burst of fire or explosion before a short cooling phase. In another hidden cavern network, you can find a merchant named Poppit to buy Helio the Wisp, which will bring a helper to heal you when you've been injured.

Nox's Bayou

There are six accessories to collect in this big dungeon in the swamp. You can buy the Volatile Beastium from a passenger on the train between the bayou and beach to cause enemies to drop explosives occasionally. After defeating Nox's Beast, travel to the Backwaters area of the swamp to find a small frog, and hand it back to the Bayou Band to earn the Tumbling Tutu spin attack.

The Iron Lung is awarded when you defeat the Mock Moon miniboss and it will allow you to stay underwater for longer. The Kindly Hag merchant's house is where to purchase the Pit Preserver which will take you back to safety if you fall in water or pits with less damage. The health can be slowly lowered upon being hit by picking up the Vascular Syrup near the Big Lagoon, without killing. Last but not least, close to the entrance of the area where Nox protects the deep water, there is a possibility to climb up a rope and attach the Twill Weave to boost defense attribute.

Eastern Heath

There are four accessories found throughout the Eastern Heath, but to enjoy the frozen parts of this map, you should purchase the city train systems. The Frozen Pass area accessible to the train will have the Smelling Salts for raising the secondary level of the tools.

The secret cave of the merchant, Poppit, is there for purchase, and Willow the Wisp will provide an ally that will boost your attack and speed after taking damage. It is near the fields where you can speak to a child named Lad to restore energy by picking up items by giving him the Windfall Charm. Finally, a Chain Capacitor damage multiplier can be gained by successfully destroying the vehicle at the Choppe Shoppe within the allotted time.

Southern Outskirts

This gloomy path has two extras to be found. To buy the character Keri the Wisp that extends jumps, search for the secret cave of Poppit on the path towards the beach. For the extra two flask slots, you'll need a small isolated house to enter, typically mounted in the roof of a bigger house. Go down the stairs in and cross the gaps in the floor to find the treasure chest.

Ossex

During the main story, you can buy and/or earn 15 accessories in the center city of Ossex. There is a local shop owner with a shop, and you can purchase a number of things straight from them. For example, the Plasma Funnel doubles the speed of the flasks and makes them impossible to lose when struck and the Seismic Belt will generate a damaging shock wave when the attack button is pressed while underground.

The Brisk Brew can be acquired to boost the base walking speed and for a short time, when struck by a foe, the walking speed is increased. For a more hardcore style, the Uranium Bracelet can do much to boost your attack and defense. If your resource pool is full, the Intravenous Vial automatically activates a healing flask for you, saving the time that it takes to drink it.

The Bubble Ring creates a protective shield after a couple of quick consecutive hits when you strike the Shock Flint at maximum health or energy, it shows a growing electric projectile. Lastly, if an enemy attacks you whilst you are preparing a flask, the Counter Vial will cause a defensive dodge and counter-burst.

The other objects in the city are a bit trickier and necessitate trips to certain places or getting the attention of the townspeople. You may interact with Elizabeth in the corner of the main manor house and take her initial currency offer which she will pay back with 1,000 resources later in order to get the Deboning Wand.

Burrow under the barricade of the house to the right of the central fountain to ensure stable movement on hazards and water and climb through the roof access and walk down the attic stairs to the balcony. To obtain Valor Medallion go up to Furl on top of the clothing shop, punch him to make his nose grow, cross to the next building to pick up a bouquet of flowers, and then dig-bump him south of the crying woman and speak to him again.

If you see Frayd roam and is in the state of agitation, beat him until he drops his currency and flees. Afterwards, visit his camp spot and hand him 1,000 resources to get the Bell of Grace. You can obtain the Pneumatic Armlet from Willis in the local Music Hall to increase the distance thrown and damage of objects thrown. The Warding Beastium can be collected off the ground at Evra to help you take less damage while healing less than normal. Last, you can immediately go back to the Miner's Den to get the Thermal Pack, which will raise your damage for a short period after rescuing Fiance from the beach, or dying.
