Here’s a guide on how to cross the Chasm in Desecrated Fortress in Saros.

As you walk toward the fortress for the first time, look up. You will see the winged beast from the Shattered Rise fly over you and enter the building.

Before you go inside, find the teleporter in the clearing. You can use this to go back to The Passage if you need to.

Once you enter the first room of the fortress, look for a box. It usually has an Honorarium Sigil inside. This item is the key to a locked room later on.

Make sure to open every container you see in the side rooms. You want to collect as many as you can. Most players find about six Honorarium Sigils if they look everywhere. You will need these much later in Saros.

Surviving the Environment

The fortress is much more dangerous than the places you have been before. The enemies are stronger, and the floors are full of traps. You will have to dodge red lasers and jump over deep holes.

Getting around is also different here. You will have to time your jumps on moving platforms. Watch out for the floor panels that catch fire. You can only stand on them for a second before they burn you in Saros.

Moving From Platforms

Keep moving through the rooms until you drop into a big outdoor area. The winged creature will fly over you again. Find the Eclipse pedestal here and turn it on. You have to do this to move forward.

When the Eclipse starts, the world changes. It will look like a vision of an old war. Go to the edge of the nearby cliff. You will see a Soltari body with a glowing yellow ball in Saros.

Pick it up to learn the Eclipse Threads move. You can now use this to travel along the faint trails you saw earlier in the game. Just face a thread and press the button to warp to the other side.
