Here’s a guide on how to complete the Star-Crossed Side Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

When you get to the mission of San Juan, you can start the Star-Crossed mission . First, find Sarah. She is friends with Abby. To get help, talk to the man next to her called Guillermo.

He is worried because his girlfriend, Isabela, disappeared after they had a big argument. Offer to help him find her.

Searching the Cemetery

Go to the local cemetery to look for clues. You will see a woman standing near a group of three children and a grave marker that has been knocked over. Speak with her to see if she knows anything.

The children are blocking the spot you need to check. Talk to the boy, and he will tell you they are hunting for a treasure mentioned by a man named Manu in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Agree to help them find it so they will move. They will give you a hint about where it is hidden. Walk to the far edge of the cemetery and look behind a dry well.

Dig up the treasure and bring it back to the kids. Once they leave, talk to the woman again and fix the grave marker.

Chasing the Clues and Isabela

Look at the base of the large cross in the cemetery to read what is written there. This starts a trail you need to follow. Look for more crosses placed around San Juan.

They will lead you to some old ruins on the southwest edge of the village. When you find the last cross, look at it closely to find a secret door that opens into a crypt.

Enter the crypt and pick up a Document called The Chosen One near the door. Use your rope to rappel down the walls and follow the path until you drop into some water.

Get out of the pool and open the sarcophagus to get a Vestige called Kantu's Gilded Vest. You will find Isabela nearby, so speak with her to make sure she is safe.

Navigating the Ruins

You need to find a way out now. Crawl under the wall on the other side of the room. To your left, you will see a Mural named Huascar, the Syncretist. Head to the right and grab a Resource Container before you hit a floor trap in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Nearby, you can find a Document called Believer's Journal. Use your weapon to break the wooden barricade to find Jade Ore and another Resource Container, then squeeze through the gap in the wall by the mural.

Pick up the Document called Hubris near a skeleton. Use your grapple to swing across the pit to a rock wall. Go around the corner to find the Document called Pure of Heart sitting on a stone table.

To get to the secret Wheel-lock Pistol, climb the wall and jump to the left. As you jump back and keep going left, make sure you don't hit the floor trap. As you crawl through a small cave, shoot the trap that falls from the roof.

Look behind the lever to find Gold Ore and the Document called Demons. Push the lever and grapple across the room to climb out in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Finishing the Task

Go back to Guillermo and tell him where you found Isabela. He will tell you to go talk to Manu. You can find Manu near the cafe in the main plaza, past the merchant.

He will be hanging out with the children from the cemetery. He wants you to explore a nearby place called the Thirsty Gods Challenge Tomb.

If you have already finished that tomb, just talk to him again. If not, go to the lake southeast of town and complete it. When you are done, talk to Manu to get the Skull Relic as your reward.
