This guide covers the steps for The King’s Horn Side Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. You will assist with a ritual for the young prince by gathering a ceremonial item hidden within the city.

Starting the Task

After you finish the main tasks in The Hidden City, go to the hut of Unuratu. Look for Uchu and speak with him. He will tell you that he needs help preparing a rite of passage for Etzli. Your first job is to find a man who can help with the necessary items in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Visiting Kabil and Cualli

Make your way to the western part of the city. Kabil lives on a farm just north of the market area. When you reach his house, a scene will play. You will find out that the cult has been punishing him because he supports the legacy of Unuratu. He cannot help you until his family's situation is resolved.

Walk south toward the market. You will hear two women talking about a man named Cualli. Speak with them to find out where he is being held in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

They will tell you that a cultist of Kulkukhan has taken him. Head up the stairs near the women and go southwest. You will find a guard standing outside a cell where Cualli is trapped.

Helping Yamil

Look for a group of boys nearby who are throwing rocks at a cliff. Speak with Yamil, one of the children. He tells you that the guard at the cell threw his father's knife up onto a high ledge. Agree to get it back for him.

To get to the ledge and get the knife, climb the wall that is close by. Get down again and talk to Yamil. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, he will help you confuse the guard.

Securing the Horn

With the guard distracted by the boys, go to the cell to free Cualli. Once he is safe, travel back to the farm to see Kabil. A scene will play, and you will finally receive the King’s Horn. Take the item back to Uchu to finish this task. Doing this will also start the next mission, The Savior’s Amulet in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
