You can start Widow’s Tears once the Empty-handed part of the story is over. Head to the southwest area of the city. Look for a building that has an Archivist Map inside.

There is a man standing with some people nearby. Talk to him to hear that someone killed Sumaq.

Entering the House

Go to the front door of the home. A Cultist is standing there and tells you to go away because of the crowd. Walk down the steps and find a man with a Shell Horn.

Talk to him so he makes the crowd leave. Now that the path is open, walk past the Cultist and go inside to watch the scene.

Looking for Clues

You need to get the full story. Talk to Taruca, who is a slave, to hear what he saw. Go to the second floor and talk to Xoco, who was married to Sumaq in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

There is also a Cultist there you should speak with. Check Sumaq’s body and look at the trail of blood going out the back door. Find Akna behind the gate and talk to her, too.

Finding the Weapon

Walk outside and get onto the ledge on the right side of the house. A woman there has information about how Xoco and Sumaq got along.

Walk to the side of the house and jump onto the wall to climb up. Search the area on your right to find a Relic called the Antique Knife.

Once you have the facts from Akna, go back through the gate and enter the house again in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Solving the Crime

Speak to every NPC in the building one last time. When you have all the proof, go to the Cultist on the main floor. Tell him the truth about the murder.

This lets you save Taruca and finish the mission. You will receive the Yaway’s Battle Tunic Vestige as your prize.
