The Outer Worlds 2 Guide | How to Get Zynarium Hover Suit
Here's how you can get the Zynarium Hover Suit
Game Guide by Joy Rahman on Nov 26, 2025
The Zynarium Hover Suit in The Outer Worlds 2 allows you to have extended air time, making it significantly easier to traverse through dangerous areas.
To get your hands on it, you will need to travel to Praetor and locate the Automech Production Facility.

The Automech Production Facility is going to be heavily guarded, so you will need to make sure that you are well-prepared to take down a number of hostile enemies.

You will first need to climb up the cliff on the side of the mountain and then head into the building.

Jump across the main hall down to the room further ahead, from which you will need to go left. Where there is going to be a door beside the stairs, ignore the door and head up the stairs.
The stairs will lead you to a corridor from which you'll need to head inside the first room on the left, where you will notice the suit stored inside a chamber.

When you're inside, there will be a terminal present from which you can examine and interact. Interacting with the computer will allow you to unlock the container and get access to the suit.
Once you equip the suit, you will have a new movement ability; whenever you jump and then hold jump button, it will activate your hover ability. The hover ability will consume energy on the blue stamina bar, and once stamina runs out you will fall.
There's an achievment tied to the suit, that has you take down 5 enemies during your hover period. But it doesn't mean that you'll need to take down all five enemies in a single hover. You'll be able to do it during any specific period whilst you are airborne with the suit.
Your best that is to find an open area where you'll want to activate the suit briefly and then return to recover your stamina, and then repeat the process.
The Zynarium Hover Suit acts as a fun and effective way to deal with enemies as well as play the game. And adds value to any loadout in The Outer Worlds 2.
