There are still some ways to quickly level up in World War Z: Aftermath that you can use again and again. For fast progress in account level, weapon level, and class level, Horde Mode is the best way to go. It gives you a lot of steady XP and a short campaign stop farm in Marseille on Missile Command.

Fastest All-Around XP Method: Horde Mode

Horde Mode gives XP to almost everything at once, making it the most clear choice. You can level up your class, your general profile, and several weapons in a single run. Vanguard can go from level 11 to level 21 on Normal by reaching wave 21. In the same session, their total level can go from 26 to 35.

Leveling Up Weapons Faster in Horde Mode

If you stick with one gun for a few waves and then switch, you can level up your weapons faster. Most of the time, you can only get one level up per match. Switching between weapons lets you level up more than one gun at once. Keep an eye on your XP bar. When you stop a match three-quarters of the way through a level, you might need to go through it again to finish the last few steps.

If you are using fancy variants or unique versions, leveling may not count the same way as a standard version. For pure XP testing, use the basic version until you confirm levels are registering.

Fast Campaign XP Farm: Marseille – Missile Command Elevator Checkpoint

To play a secret or offline match, load up Marseille and choose Chapter 2, Missile Command. Turn up the challenge to "Epic," and then rush to the part where you need to call the elevator.

After reaching the elevator section, down the bot teammates, then grab a Heavy Weapon and get downed to end the attempt quickly. If that is not possible, let a zombie down you instead. Stamina-focused perks help you reach the checkpoint faster. Stay alert in spots where special zombies can spawn. With Vanguard, the run is often under two minutes, and it is usually about three minutes without it.

Why Vanguard Speeds Up This Farm

Vanguard is useful here because the shield helps you move through danger without stopping. Shields are commonly found along the path, so you can recharge and keep pushing. The perk Recuperation can also help, because the shield regenerates, which reduces the need to pause for recharges on Extreme.

If you are leveling Vanguard for prestige rewards tied to the Light Automatic Weapon, this route stacks class XP while keeping runs short.

Make Private Runs Safer With Mutators

Open mutators and turn on Perfect Condition and I Feel Your Pain in a private room with bots. You and the bots are very hard to drop with this setup, and bots are good at coming back to life, so the loop stays the same even if a run gets messy.

Extra XP Notes That Still Matter

Since more difficult levels generally give more XP, moving up when you're ready will speed up your progress over time. The checkpoint idea can be used in other missions too, as long as it's easy to get to a part that can be played again in a private lobby with bots.
