Bai Kru awaits you in the caves of Mt. Zhenwu. This boss will test your understanding of Frostbite mechanics and your ability to stay mobile during combat in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

You'll need the Boreal Abyss weapon and patience to chip away at his health using Frostbite over and over.

Location and Access

You can find Bai Kru at Mt. Zhenwu in the Bai Mansion area. To get to the boss arena, take the path that goes left from the shrine. Keep going through the cave system until you reach the boss chamber at the end in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Preparation and Equipment

For this encounter, you should equip the One-Handed Sword called Boreal Abyss. This weapon becomes essential due to its unique L1/LB ability that launches five ice daggers when you have accumulated 2 Skyborn Might charges.

You can find the Boreal Abyss in Cloudspire, Snowfall Palace. Look for the hidden treasure room under the elevator inside the main palace.

To reach this room, use the elevator to go up. Then, stand on the elevator platform to descend into the hidden chamber below.

Set up your character by putting all available points into Magic, Agility, and Vitality stats.

This setup maximizes your damage output while keeping you alive with improved dodging skills and extra health in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Combat Strategy

The encounter is moderately challenging, rated 5 out of 10. You should be level 75 or higher before trying this fight. Bai Kru appears as a large, bird-like creature with a lot of health, represented by a single bar.

The boss mainly uses melee attacks, focusing on jumping strikes that create small splash damage zones where they hit. Bai Kru also sometimes shoots water projectiles from its head in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Your primary strategy is to take advantage of the boss's weakness to Frostbite status effects. Start each engagement phase by dodging around the arena to gather 5 Skyborn Might charges.

When you reach this number, activate the weapon's L1 ability called Icebound Escape to launch the ice daggers at Bai Kru.

This technique serves dual purposes as both an offensive attack and a defensive maneuver since the ability animation includes evasive movement in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

When Frostbite buildup reaches its maximum threshold, the boss will suffer approximately 4000 damage instantly.

After triggering Frostbite, you must wait for the status effect's cooldown period before you can apply it again. Use this downtime to build another set of 5 Skyborn Might charges through continued dodging and positioning.

Enhancement Options

You can increase your Frostbite application rate by tempering the Boreal Abyss weapon with a Frostbite Needle. This modification accelerates the buildup process and reduces the time needed to trigger the devastating status effect.

The One-Handed Sword skill Biding Time provides automatic Skyborn Might regeneration, eliminating the need for perfect dodge timing during your charge accumulation phases.

This passive ability streamlines the combat flow and reduces the technical requirements for execution in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

If you completed all prior interactions with He Youzai, you can summon this ally to assist during the encounter by using the Bone Whistle item.

These rewards help you progress and give you access to new abilities and crafting materials in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
