Strong Armor and a good combination of spells are what dictate the result of any fight in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. This guide will show you how you can get the best Armor and Spells needed to win any fight in the game.

Ming Armor

After getting the spear from the Shu Sanctum areas and returning to the Shu Temple main entrance, you'll encounter a Ming Dynasty enemy.

When you defeat this enemy, you'll get Ming Armor as a reward, which provides substantial physical damage resistance during early gameplay.

This armor offers considerable physical resist stats and decent burn resistance, helping you withstand one of the primary ailments you'll face in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Centipede Armor

Travel to the area below Shu Sanctum toward the Bandits Cave near the waypoint for a boss encounter.

Defeating this boss gives you items that you can take to Tower Ching. He offers the Centipede Armor.

The Centipede Armor is resistant to physical, slash, bunt, and stab damage in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

However, it has limited resistance to ailments, with only slight protection against corruption.

Infernal Flames Spell

From the Shu Sanctum front entrance, navigate toward Lu Hungli's boss encounter by crossing the invisible bridge and keeping right at the junction to reach the village area in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Pass through the large gate and follow the main road, being cautious of the boulder trap set by an enemy. Use the ladder near the house to the right of this enemy.

Progress through the scaffolding area until you reach a location with a dancing elemental enemy.

Rather than engaging in direct combat, use a throwing pot against the surrounding oil barrels to eliminate the enemy instantly. This grants you Infernal Flames, a spell costing two Skyborn Might that provides decent fire damage for spellcaster builds.

The spell explodes on impact and works effectively when aimed at enemies near oil pots, though it travels slowly.

Burning Flames Spell

On your way to the Reborn Triant boss encounter in Soulwood, take the ladder on the right side at the beginning.

Climb to the top, where you can open a shortcut to your right, but continue left to find a second ladder. Progress down the path to encounter a mini-boss. While challenging, defeating this enemy grants you Burning Flames in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

This spell costs three Skyborn Might but includes an auto-dodge feature that can trigger Alacrity.

With the passive Alacrity upgrade, performing this spell at the precise moment an enemy attacks can generate additional Skyborn Might.

This spell proves effective against fire-vulnerable enemies throughout the game.

Thunderstorm Spell

At Cloud Spire Outskirts from the shrine, turn 180 degrees and enter the building on the right side. Grab the ladder to reach the second level, keep to the right, and enter the second building on the left.

Take another ladder upward, then proceed past the large zombie monument to its rear. Choose the left path from the adjacent routes and navigate to the enemies with cannons, being careful to dodge their attacks in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Behind these enemies, climb the ladder on the left to reach the Bandits Camp. Defeat the mini-boss here to obtain both keys for a nearby boss encounter and the Thunderstorm spell.

While visually impressive with decent range, this spell performs better at medium range and excels at building paralysis effects on enemies.
