Echo Added to Overwatch Ban Hero Pool Days After Going Public

Blizzard Entertainment use of the Ban Hero Pool is an attempt to balance Overwatch due to the sheer amount of heroes and varieties. Echo, who was the recent hero added to Overwatch, has now been added to the ban pool.

Echo, Tracer, Orisa, and Moira have been banned in Week 12 of the hero rotation. The issue with this is that Echo hasn't been used in the Overwatch League. On YouTube, lots of users played the hero during her time in the PTR and found her to be extremely overpowered due to her ability to copy other Hero's Ultimates and use them multiple times during a single charge.

Overwatch is now available for PC, Xbox One, Switch, and PS4.
