Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Players Can Play Sephiroth Early

Today Nintendo had a special Sephiroth video providing details on the legendary warrior joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Including his move set, how to unlock him early, and more.
Masahiro Sakurai explained at the end of the video that fans can play the former 1st Class Soldier early by fighting him as a boss fight character. There will be 3 difficulty options such as Easy, Normal, and Hard, and by beating him you can access the Northern Crater stage early along with the character.
There were going to be higher risk initially. With players who failed to beat Sephiroth unable to play him until December 22nd, when the character launched. But it was pulled.
In addition, new Mii Fighter outfits will join the roster. This includes Tifa as Brawler, Barrett as Gunner, and ironically Aerith as Swordfighter.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now on Switch.
