Cyberpunk 2077 has gone down in history as one of the most infamous releases in gaming. Due to the game's massive marketing and hype, the title's launch had a lot of eyes on it. Then the game released in a buggy unfinished mess and on last-generation consoles the game was unplayable.

Since then CD Projekt RED has been on damage control attempting to resolve the game's many issues. Today, Co-Founder Marcin Iwinski of CD Projekt RED officially apologized on video about the game's launch.

Cyberpunk 2077,NoobFeed,

Iwinski apologized to fans and wanted everyone to know that it was management's decision to the game. Iwinski then went on to explain how hardware limitations led to the game's major issues. They made the game amazing on PC then scaled down for the console versions. This is a major problem as games are usually created for the weaker option and scaled from there.

The review process was addressed as well. Iwinski explained how they decided on review keys and that console keys were not intended to release late. This was due to the COVID-19 outbreak that made CD Projekt RED make major changes to adhere to the quarantine procedures.

Iwinski concluded by providing a timeline on future updates and the team is working hard on ensuring that Cyberpunk 2077 delivers the experience promised.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PS4 (Physical), PS5 (Physical), Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
