The Fire Samurai is the best Katana build, boasting one of the most dynamic close-quarters fighting styles that combines quick Katana moves with smart attribute distribution.

This build excels at closing the gap between enemies quickly and dealing devastating fire damage in Cyberpunk 2077.

Your primary goals will be to be fast, stay alive, and get the most out of fire-based Katana fighting.

Core Attributes

You should put Speed above all other traits because this skill tree has your most important benefits. Put points into reflexes as quickly as possible as you level up your character.

When you use a Katana, the reaction tree determines how well you can fight and how quickly you can move.

Spend a lot of money on body traits to make your health pool bigger. Since you'll be fighting enemies up close while they fire bullets at you, you need more hit points to stay alive.

When you use your body to defend yourself, you take less damage during aggressive attacks.

Acquire technology skills to maximize your Cyberware's potential. This purchase lets you add more Cyberware improvements, which go well with your melee-focused style of play in Cyberpunk 2077.

Essential Perks

Lead and Steel is your primary defense perk; it lets you block incoming projectiles with your Katana. With this skill, your Katana can be used for both offense and defense.

Bullet Deflect adds to projectile blocking by sending bullets that have been stopped back at your enemies.

With this skill, enemy fire can be used against them.

With the Finisher, Bladerunner will take down enemies in a stylish way.

Dash and Air Dash make it easier to move around. These bonuses help you move quickly across the battlefield and get closer to enemies that are farther away in Cyberpunk 2077.

Adrenaline Rush is invaluable for staying successful in battle. You can get more hit points, and more hit points will heal faster with this perk.

At its highest level, it temporarily raises your hit points through adrenaline.

If you want more options than just Katanas, use the Wrecking Ball and Quake perks.

These perks make it easier to use blunt weapons like clubs, giving you more options for close combat.

Obtaining a License to Chrome should be your primary investment in enhancing your technical skills.

This perk increases the amount of Cyberware you can add, which lets you make more Cyberware improvements in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberware Recommendations

Your choice of Cyberware gives you options based on your tastes. Put armor-boosting devices like Parabellum or Subdermal Armor at the top of your list.

These improvements are significant for protecting yourself when fighting enemies with Katanas instead of guns.

For the best results, install one of the Berserk Operating Systems. When triggered, Berserk temporarily makes you immune to damage and increases your melee damage, stamina, and attack speed all at the same time.

For this build, the Miltic Berserk is the best card in its spot.

Weapon Selection

The central part of this build is Errata, the thermal Katana. This weapon can be obtained early in Act Two as you continue in Cyberpunk 2077.

You can find the Katana in the same building where you and Judy saved Evelyn Parker during the Disaster Piece quest. The weapon should be in a Furnace at the bottom of the building.

Your strategy is based on moving quickly across the battleground and fighting aggressively up close. Move soon through battle zones by using your mobility boosts and the fire Katana to set foes on fire.

When you combine Speed, the ability to defend yourself, and fire damage, you get a unique combat rhythm that stresses quick strikes and strategic placement in Cyberpunk 2077.
