Game Guide by Ragib Rawnak on Aug 14, 2025
This guide will show you how to make a strong Netrunner build that uses the Blackwall Cyberdeck, but you will have to make confident choices in the main story in Cyberpunk 2077.
Getting the Black Wall Cyberdeck
To get the essential Militech Canto Cyberdeck, you must choose Reed's side during the Fire Starter mission.
This decision leads Songbird to rampage and eventually get captured, resulting in another escape attempt before she ends up in a secret underground Militech facility.

During your infiltration of this facility, navigate carefully through the area while avoiding hostile robots.
You will discover a crafting Blueprint for the Militech Kanto, also known as the Black Wall Cyberdeck. Once you complete the mission and retrieve this Blueprint, take it to Yoko, the Netrunner merchant located in the Kabuki market.
The Black Wall Gateway is one of the most powerful hacking skills in the game, and the Militech Kanto gives you access to it in Cyberpunk 2077.
Attribute and Perk Distribution
To get the most out of your hacking skills, put most of your attribute points into Intelligence. This stat tells you how well you can use cyber attacks and other skills.
Intelligence Tree Perks
Start with Hack Queue, which enables you to upload multiple quick hacks against single targets while boosting your RAM capacity.
Queue Mastery and Feedback Loop serve as valuable passive abilities that reduce quick hack costs and accelerate RAM regeneration rates in Cyberpunk 2077.

Proximate Propagation provides similar benefits and should be prioritized.
Overclock is your ultimate ability, temporarily slowing time while buffing damage output and recovery rates.
This ability allows you to continue using quick hacks even when your RAM is depleted, making it extremely powerful.
Additionally, consider investing in Encryption, Power Surge, and System Overwhelm from this tree.
Other Intelligence perks offer benefits but rank as lower priorities in Cyberpunk 2077.
Technical Ability Tree Perks
Within the Technical Ability tree, maximize License to Chrome to expand your Cyberware capacity significantly.
When you use Overclock, Ticking Time Bomb creates EMP blasts that stun and hurt foes nearby. You do need 20 points in Technical Ability to get this perk, though.

Edgerunner is an optional perk that lets you go beyond the standard bounds of Cyberware. It is helpful, but not necessary, for this build to work.
Choosing Cyberware
When choosing Cyberware, focus on increasing your RAM and improving your armor ratings.
Options for Improving RAM in Cyberpunk 2077.
For RAM improvements, install Memory Boost and Ex-Disk upgrades in your frontal cortex slots. RAM Reallocator significantly speeds up RAM regeneration, making it an excellent investment.
Basic RAM Boost is a cheaper solution if you can't afford the premium options due to budget constraints.

Armor Upgrades
Enhance your survivability with armor-focused Cyberware such as Parabellum, Bionic Joints, and Subdermal Armor.
Reinforced Tendons also lets you double jump, which makes it easier for you to move about during fights.
After establishing these core components, distribute the remaining attribute and perk points according to your preferred playstyle and secondary combat approaches in Cyberpunk 2077.
