This guide covers seven powerful builds for Cyberpunk 2077, tested on the Very Hard difficulty setting. All builds are viable and offer different ways to play the game.

Shocking Tech Runner Build

This build focuses on tech weapons and electrical effects. You use tech shotguns and SMGs to shock and stun enemies. The playstyle involves charging your weapons for high damage and using cyberware to create chain lightning effects.

Core Attributes

Your main attribute is 20 Technical Ability for perks like Bolt and Chain Lightning. You need 20 Body for survivability and shotgun perks. Invest 15 Reflexes for mobility and put the remaining points into Cool.

Key Perks

In the Technical Ability tree, focus on the right side for perks that enhance charged shots and electrical effects. In the Body tree, invest in Rip and Tear and Obliteration for shotgun damage.

Weapons

Your primary weapon is the Satara shotgun. From the Phantom Liberty expansion, you can use the Raichu SMG. The best mod for the Satara is the Wall Puncher.

Cyberware

Equip the Microgenerator in your hands for electroshock damage. Use the Biomonitor and Blood Pump combo for automatic healing. Kerenzikov helps with evasion.

Hitman Build

This build is for stealth gameplay. You use silenced pistols and optical Camo to eliminate targets without being detected. The playstyle is methodical and focused on headshots.

Core Attributes

Your main attribute is 20 Cool, which gives you the stealth and gun perks. You need 20 Body to lessen damage. Invest 20 technical skills to build up cyberware.

Key Perks

In the Cool tree, focus on Vanishing Act, Nerves of Tungsten Steel, and Feline Footwork. These enhance your stealth movement and pistol damage.

The best pistol is Pride. Other options include Jackie's Pistols, Death and Taxes, Doom Doom, or Her Majesty from Phantom Liberty.

Optical Camo is essential for staying hidden. Use the Axolotl cyberdeck for cooldown reduction. The Biomonitor and Blood Pump provide healing.

Reflex Samurai Build

This build uses katanas for high-speed melee combat. The playstyle is aggressive, focusing on closing distance quickly and eliminating enemies with fast attacks and finishers.

Your main attribute is 20 Reflexes for blade perks. You need 20 Body for survivability. Invest 20 Technical Ability for cyberware capacity.

Smart SMG Alternative

This variant is mostly about smart SMGs that can be hacked quickly. You can change between shooting and hacking, which makes the gameplay flexible.

The best weapons are the Warden or Yinglong SMGs.

Cyberware

Berserk Build

This build is all about heavy weapons and being able to survive for a long time. The way to play is simple: you fight enemies directly and use your high strength to avoid getting hurt.

Your main attribute is 20 Body for blunt weapon perks and health. You need 20 Technical Ability for cyberware capacity. Invest 15 Reflexes for mobility.

In the Body tree, focus on Wrecking Ball, Quake, and Savage Sling for AoE damage and stagger.

Weapons

Your main weapon is a pair of Gorilla Arms.

Cyberware

Use the Axolotl operating system and Berserk for survivability. Biodyne increases damage and attack speed. Dense Marrow boosts melee damage. Stack mitigation with Spring Joints and Neofiber.

Solo Build Alternative

This variant uses power shotguns for close-range combat. The playstyle is aggressive, using shotguns to deal massive damage up close, while cyberware provides survivability.
