Blizzard Warns Players Not to Use Lucioball Character Glitch

The Rocket League minigame Lucioball has become a huge hit with the Overwatch community, but players are using an exploit that allows other characters to invade the Play of the Game highlight. Game director Jeff Kaplan took to the forums to warn players that punishments will be enacted for those who use this glitch.

"Apologies for this bug. We've attempted to fix it numerous times and have had unrelated issues preventing the fix. We hope to have a fix this week.

In the meantime, we are in discussions with our Customer Support group to start taking action against those deliberately using the bug to play heroes other than Lucio.

Please do not exploit this bug. Fair warning."

Seems rather drastic for a bug but considering that Overwatch has a one-strike policy tempting the developers is probably not wise.

Overwatch is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
