CD Projekt RED is one of the most acclaimed video game companies in the industry. Whereas other companies have skimmed on content, shift focus on live services, and lock content through overpriced DLC CD Projekt RED remains one of the few companies to develop AAA games with such incredible quality. Today, PlayStation EU uploaded the first episode of a series that details the beginnings of the company, all narrated by the Witcher Geralt of Rivia.
The first episode showcases the origins of the company with Co-founder Marin Iwikski detailing how a simple act of kindness from a fellow gamer started his desire to create one of the best developers in the industry.
Marcin explained that The Witcher's was made possible thanks to BioWare. After 4 years of development the first game launched and set into motion to make the company what it is today. We also get some of CD Projekt RED's staff to speak in the episode, explaining how the company's focus on quality first and feedback from their fans allows them to create incredible games.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Cyberpunk 2077 is now in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
