A Tomb Raider fansite known as Tomb Of Ash has uploaded the game's assets, along with instructions on how to get the game up and running on PC.
This is not the full game and there are no enemies, although what is available does allow players to play through multiple levels and solve puzzles.
During an interview with Eurogamer two years ago, original developers at Core revealed that the project was greenlit and relatively far into development, before it was scrapped in favor of 2007's multi-platform remake Tomb Raider: Anniversary. This game would be developed instead by Crystal Dynamics - the studio responsible for the recent Tomb Raider games.
Core and its subsidiaries were unfortunately dissolved in 2010, with this remake being a glimpse into their last work on the Tomb Raider franchise.
