AC: Brotherhood Collector's Edition
News by David on Aug 10, 2010
If the multiplayer beta still isn’t enough to please your stabbing needs, Ubisoft has got more awesome goodies to further whet your appetite. The publisher has just announced a Collector’s Edition for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, which will retail for the low, low price of $99.99! Also, it will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Collector’s Edition will come with the game’s soundtrack, an art book, comic, behind-the-scenes DVD, two CE-exclusive single player maps, and a map of Rome. But the collectible that clearly stands out is the jack-in-the-box. You can pre-order at your nearest Gamestop and choose which model (Harlequin or Doctor) you desire.
I’ve provided you with images for your viewing pleasure:

The Xbox 360 version, with Harlequin model...

...and the PS3 version, with the Doctor model.
As evident with other, recent collector’s editions, it’s starting to seem like publishers are getting desperate to make more money. Still, it’s hard to justify this collector’s edition pricing when Ubisoft hooks you up with these goodies. Who can blame them, really?
