Ancestors Legacy Releases This May, Open Multiplayer Beta Now Live

Announced last year, Ancestors Legacy now has a release date. Published by 1C Company and developed by Destructive Creations, the studio behind Hatred and IS Defense, the title is a squad-based real-time strategy with a strong focus on tactics, all inspired by medieval European history. A significant departure from the studio's past projects, the game will feature four playable nations (Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Germans and Slavs), combining "resource management and base building with large-scale, squad-based battles across vast battlefields, all rendered in great detail thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 tech."

Terrain, unit experience and morale will have a say in combat. Ancestors Legacy will also have native gamepad support. The title is set to release on May 22nd, 2018 on PC and Xbox One. It will be available worldwide digitally, with selected countries receiving boxed versions of the game. An Open Multiplayer Beta is currently live, allowing players to do battle using all four factions across three maps of varying sizes (1v1, 2v2 or 3v3). Ancestors Legacy is now available for pre-order for the discounted price of 35,99€ or your regional equivalent. Pre-ordering will also get you a digital artbook and the game's soundtrack composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz. Have a look at the latest trailer for the game.
