Black Wii

It’s been a long time in waiting, but Nintendo are finally releasing an alternative colour for their record-breaking console. It’s actually the last major console of this generation to do so after Microsoft released their Xbox 360 Elite; the PlayStation 3 sporting that colour from the get-go.

They announced this was coming a while back, but now they’ve finally released a box shot, which means we’re one step closer to getting our hands on it. It’s set for a release of August 1st in Japan, with the rest of the gaming world hoping that they then decide to release it elsewhere. Nothing has been officially announced yet.
