A lot of people aren't sure if the next Resident Evil: Requiem will come to the Nintendo Switch 2. Following Capcom's recent comments about Switch 2, several sources say that they plan to release the highly anticipated game on Nintendo's new system. The series will move forward a lot with this new switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem was said to be coming out on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch 2. The report says that work is already starting on the game, but there is no information about when it will be released. According to some new reports, Capcom also wants the game to work on Nintendo's next-generation system.

Now, there are new rumors that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard could be coming to Nintendo Switch 2. There might be a huge treat in store for the next Nintendo Direct: It looks like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will finally be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Several new reports indicate that Capcom is planning to announce the game for Nintendo's next-generation hybrid system at a presentation scheduled to take place later this week. There was no reason for this to happen. Capcom has long wanted to bring all of the big Resident Evil games to Nintendo platforms.
Still, the first Switch didn't have enough power for all of them, so many had to be streamed or skipped altogether. There are rumors that Capcom tried to run Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village 8, and the new versions of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 on the original Switch, but it wasn't able to.
Everything changes because the Switch 2's design has been improved. Now that there is more up-to-date hardware inside, Capcom can make these blockbuster, scary experiences without any problems. Resident Evil 7 may be the first of many remakes. Village, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and Resident Evil 4 Remake are all great games that could be ported.
Another theory circulating is that three mysterious games with the number "7" in their names will be released on the Switch 2. We already know that one of them is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, but we don't know what the other ones are. A lot of fans think that Resident Evil 7 could fit in one of those spots.
There are examples of Capcom putting more effort into Resident Evil for Nintendo systems. Even the controversial Resident Evil 6 sold more than a million copies on Switch, which the publisher is said to have been surprised by. Other games, like Resident Evil 4, 5, and the Revelations series, have also done well, showing that Nintendo fans like survival horror.
If the reports are true, not only Resident Evil 7 but also a lot of Capcom's other survival horror games could come out on the Switch 2. Also, Nintendo fans have been waiting years for full local versions of these games, so this would be a big deal.
It won't be long before fans know about the Direct, which is set to happen later this week. Could the Switch 2 be the best handheld place to play Resident Evil?
