Dead Nation Beta Released

Zombie and gore fanatics should check their morbid inboxes! It seems Sony has sent out invites to the Dead Nation Beta by surprise.
 

It's like a family reunion.

Dead Nation is an outrageous top-down shooter, setting you in the midst of the zombie apocalypse.  It will be exclusively available through the PlayStation Network. You can blast your way through an infinite tsunami of undead, be it alone or with some friends that share your fate. Much in line of classic games, this game appeals to anyone who enjoyed the Loaded series or even the cult hit Smash TV.
 

Playstation 3: It only does the Undead...Ok, then...

The beta has already started and will go on until Sept. 3. The download is approximately 1GB. There will be two scheduled events that take place on Aug. 24 at 12PM US PT and Aug. 26 at 2PM US PT. Two characters, Jack McReady and P.Y.T. Scarlett Blake, will be playable in this beta. Also, leaderboards are already active, so this is a good way to get a head start.
